Love in Translation by Wendy Tokunaga

2 Aug

The premise of this story is pretty simple; white woman travels to Japan to search for a distant family connection. While there she meets a man and falls in love, bla bla bla… What I really loved about this book was all the information the author provided about Japanese culture. I read this book while holding my i-pod and googling locations, pop stars, customs, food, etc. At the end of the story I felt like I learned all sorts of new things and it made me really want to travel to Japan. If you are interested in Japanese culture I really recommend this book.
